The Food Pantry Garden

We are committed to helping to address the high rates of food insecurity with high quality, organic produce and herbs that our neighbors in need can use to create healthy meals.

We donate fresh organic vegetables and herbs from our dedicated raised garden beds. Many pounds of tomatoes, kale, squash, peppers, onions, rhubarb, potatoes, swiss chard, and strawberries are some of our most reliable crops.

The Sunshine Place is located close to our garden. We normally bring our donations within the hour of harvesting. The nutritional value is at its highest point the moment the fruit leaves the plant. It is important to our gardeners to support our neighbors with excellent veggies.

We have carved a peaceful garden out of a grassy field, brought neighbors together working towards common goals. We have donated hundreds of pounds of produce, and contributed towards our community’s well being.

We welcome your involvement in the garden, whether you would like a plot, to join us on a workday, or have tools to donate. Thanks to the generosity of our community members, we continue to grow.
